Introduce the latest addition to RM24 series, DATOptic RM24_S6E is a 6Gb/s SAS/SATA expander chassis, which allows existing SAS/SATA raid to online expand the current volume without downtime. Simply plug-in and couple minutes of configure time
High performance
With direct connect to existing raid system via included two 4x lanes mini 6Gb/s SAS (8088) cable, a bandwidth of 40Gb/s, all the new drive will show up in RAID GUI ready to add to existing raid volume or simply create a new raid volume
Scale-able up to 128 drive
The RM24_S6E chassis supports daisy-chain topology. Just simply connect another RM24_S6E or RM16_S6E to increase the number HDD required.
