Faster but less costly

Can we convert video to X.264 fast and costly effective? I think the answer is YES! Use GPU instead of CPU

Here is what is what you need:
MediaCoder
BDinfo
Nvida Graphic card - refer 9500GT or higher

The test that I ran is between 9500GT vs AMD Phemon II x4 810 under Win7-32.
Target: Input M2TS file @ 20783MB to 4276MB with average 6100Kbps
CUDA encoder converts @ 17.4fps rate and the CPU average @ 52%, where
x.264 encoder converts @ 8.2fps rate and CPU average @ 100%

It means, if i can update my video card to Nvidia 9800GT @ $109.00 i can convert video to x.264 at speed of more then real-time? Can any one who has 9800GT test it out?

Any way I think update CPU to convert video faster is a waste of money! Video upgrade is the way to go
