DAT Optic introduces the first hardware RAID/JBoD desktop system offering interfaces: Thunderbolt, eSATA, and USB3.0 (USB2.0 compatible). A versatile, cost-effective, highly reliable and fast data transfer rate RAID/JBoD solution. In a quiet three times over-rated 400W power supply tower with five SATAI, II, III tray-less bays featuring DirectAirtm technology coupling with stand-alone (driver-less) hardware RAID engine with offer six host interfaces: Thunderbolt, eSATA, and USB3.0 (USB2.0 compatible). eBOX-TeSU is a must have solution for FAST, HIGH RELIABILITY, SILENT and EASY to manage storage.

As storage capacity requirements gets larger, using data storage without drive fault tolerance implemented, the risk of lost data, down time, and lost revenue becomes greater. Our eBOX-TeSU offers hardware RAID5 with or without hot-spare, if a HDD fails and a new HDD is inserted (hot insert) the built-in RAID engine will be able to reconstruct the BAD drive so the data stays intact. If hot spare is utilized the eBOX-TeSU will automatically add and rebuild the array with this hot spare without user intervention.

Support TrueCrypt
For sensitive data, now end users can encrypt entire file volume with our eBOX-TeSU+TrueCrypt. Our eBOX-TeSU has been tested with TrueCrypt in Linux, MAC, and Winows, eBOX-TeSU transfers over 200MB/sec with encrypted files, thanks to the embedded IO processor in the controller to minimize usage of host CPU.

DirectAirtmforcing air directly into hard drives keep their temperature close to ambient, often resulting in removing close to 100% heat dissipation. By keeping the hard drives cool, HDDs not only have increased stability, but also prolongs the HDDs' life and efficiency.

MR105 tray-less with DirectAir technology

Designed for the Studio and Office
Ultra-quiet - DirectAirtm technology removes heat a lot more efficiently then conventional convection, therefore the fan does not have to spin in high RPM, making the eBOX-TeSU THE choice for editing and recording video/audio studios who can not allow the addition of any noise within the critical and creative listening environment.

Tray-less, Saves Time and Money
With the new patent connector, end users can use the hard disk just like how compact discs or floppy disks are being used. There is no tool or hard drive tray required, just the hard drive itself. It saves time, money and prolongs SATA HDDs due to NO SCRATCH connections.
