Adapters are working as described. Well designed shape. Under OSX it's better for me is to set computer to Never sleep to avoid eject drives. (Posted on 6/9/2016)Rating - This product plus the service is excellent. Review by the Australian -Gary

G'Day, I just talked to one of your friendly help staff (horrible memory for names, sorry but he will know the Australian -Gary- who rang today about your USB3.0 to esata adapter support port multiplier) and I just wanted to let him know that it is working fine now with my Firmtek Serietek PM5 enclosure after his assistance in regards to the correct plug in procedure. I have not tried it in a raid situation as mine is JBOD, I wanted to use it mainly for general large file storage and file swaps. (with 3x 4TB and 2x 3TB hdd's). I am also placing a comment onto Amazon concerning this plug in procedure to assist others, not only those who are having problems, but for further sales of this product, as it is a very handy little gadget. Up till now I have been restricted to using a PCIe Addonics esata port multiplier in a limited number of PC's and it has frustrated me not being able to use it with other PC's, particularly with laptops. Can you let me know if this message has been passed on. Thank you and have a great day, Gary (Posted on 7/20/2015)Rating - Excellent device Review by dgreen

A breeze to install. There are NO DRIVERS REQUIRED as long as you have up-to-date drivers installed for your USB 3.0 host controller. Built-in activity light on adapter shows whether the device is active. Very nice touch. I'd absolutely buy another of these if/when the opportunity presented itself. Works to get from usb 3 to esata on a mac. Have used it with retina macbook pro and mac pro 2009 with usb 3 card. Have not tried port multiplier feature. SSD transfer speeds were >250MB/sec using blackmagic test. Speed may have been limited by ssd. Cost effective solution to lack of esata on mac platform equipped with usb3.0.
