eRAID - Key Features
  • RAID level 0, 1 (0+1), 3, 5, JBOD and Multiple RAID selection
  • Support Clustering NEW
  • Support ATA-133 HDD with 48-bit LBA support
  • Support Sharing RAID volume via dual buses: 1394a/b/USB2.0 and Serial ATA
  • Configure RAID with RS-232/USB port or LCD control panel
  • Instant availability and background initialization
  • Redundant Flash Image to ensure risk-free when flash, or firmware crash
  • Burst transfer Rate up to 266MB/sec
  • Serial ATA, USB2.0, 1394a/1394b interface

Any OS supports 1394a/b, Serial ATA, USB1.1 and USB2.High-perform architecture RAID controller The eRAID System provides RAID levels 0, 1, 0+1, 3 and 5 or JBOD configurations with featuring of 1394a; 1394b, USB2.0 and Serial ATA connectivity. Our eRAID system utilizes high-performance 64bit RISC processor, 64bit memory architecure, built-in 64MB SDRAM cache buffer and 66MHz/32bit path at burst rate upto 266MB/sec to control five (5) hot-swapt ATA-133 HDD (no size limited) with unprecedented performance whether Share or Independent Volume configuring thru Serial ATA, USB2.0 and/or 1394a/b

Clustering feature Built-in two independent data paths our eRAID is the ONLY external (portable) RAID system with offering the un-parallel clustering feature. As USB2.0 and FireWire ports configure with channel 0 (data path), where other independent channel 1 move data thru Serial ATA. Therefore two different computer systems (clustering feature required) can access the data in our eRAID. To use this feature please refer to below link How to turn on the cluster feature

Easy configuration With eRAID system, RAID level 0, 1 (0+1), 3, 5 and JBOD can be Controlled and managed through LCD control front panel or by a platform-independent embeded management utiltiy through RS-232 or USB port. This platform-independent method allows end-user (IT) implementing VT-100 console and/or HTTP proxy browser-base utility.

Redundant Flash Image Firmware mirror provides a unipue redundancy feature, which ensures the system controller availability

RAID Capabilities Online RAID Expansion; Online RAID Level and Stripe Size Migration; Automatic Failed Driver Detect and Rebuilding; Global Online Spare; HDD Hop-swap, Instant Availability and Background Initialization.
