The DATOptic RM15_S2P-TL is a FIFTEEN (15) bay 4U rack mount chassis with fifteen (15) SATA swap-able HDD directly plug-in back plane, which reduces the numbers of interconnections, thus increase reliability of system. The RM15_S2P-TL is an easy-use and cost- effective fifteen bay of 3.5" SATA Hot-swap-able hard disk drive storage system. The RM15_S2P-TL (15) fifteen 3.5 in drive rack mount enclosure can be used as a huge mass storage device, delivering large amounts of data with up to 15.0 Terabyte of storage space (1.0TB HDD).

Depending on the host controller used, IT personnel can implement either hardware and/or software RAID configurations. The RM15_S2P-TL 15x SATA HDD rackmount can be configured as JBoD using standard partitions, mirroring (RAID 1), striping (RAID 0) or any combination of Mirroring and Stripping RAID 1+0 , and even RAID 50, and can be allocate storage space with multiple systems.

A Massive protection RAID 5 storage of 15.0TB^* is possible with RM15_S2P-TL and RR-2304 using 1.0TB HDD, which offers very fast transfer rate up to 530MB/sec Write and 550MB/sec Read.
