SU2-ATAPI is an USB 2.0 to Slim PATA (ATAPI) bridge board with direct connect solution to convert a standard slim ATAPI (PATA 50pins) drive, including slim Blu ray drive to USB2.0 device. It receives standard Mass Storage Device Class (MSDC) SCSI commands from the USB host and translate them into ATA/ATAPI commands then send it to the device in machine state, therefore it close to zero latency. The maximum transfer bandwidth can goes up to 480Mb/sec.
SU2-ATAP supports USB host controller in UHCI, OHCI, EHCI modes. It means your PATA device now can be hot plug, hot swap and operates at transfer rate up to 480Mbps
