Introducing an improved version of our famous Dual Drive Internal FireWire Converter, which offers unsurpassed performance yet is simple and easy to use. Our IFC-1P, a IDE direct plug-in device, converts any up to TWO new or existing ATAPI/ATA devices into IEEE-1394/FireWire daisy chain-able internally with hardware RAID 0 capable.
When converting IDE devices to FireWire devices with our IFC-1P Internal FireWire Bridge Adapter, your computer will run SMOOTHER, FASTER and BETTER because the IDE drives no longer send TOO MANY IRQ to CPU, therefore computer system's CPU has a lot more time to do what it is supposed to. Due to the bus architecture, it will not lock up the bus when commands are sent to the bus.
JBoD - with our Brand New Dual Drive Internal FireWire Converter, your computer system is no longer subjected to four IDE devices and IRQ limitations. Now you can have up to 63 Internal or External IDE devices in the expense of only ONE IRQ.
Our FireWire to IDE supports ATAPI-6, therefore, you can daisy-chain converted IDE to FireWire Optical Drives and burn all of them at the same time or each drive with different images. Some of our customers have configured systems that are able to burn TEN different DVD titles at the same time!
